Rohsler's Allendale Nursery is a well-established nursery, greenhouse, and garden center in Northern NJ. We have openings for Part-time and Full-time Cashier (POS)/ Customer Sales Positions. Our ideal candidate has a positive attitude, is personable and punctual with retail/cashiering experience and is able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. We are willing to train the right individual.

Location:

100 Franklin Turnpike, Allendale, New Jersey 07401 Schedule varies by season. One weekend day required. Retail/cashier experience a plus. Will pay higher hourly rate for experience/ knowledge in the nursery/garden center industry.

Responsibilities:

Complete sales transactions in a timely manner. Maintain an accurate cash drawer that complies with overage/shortage standards. Possess basic math skills Take accurate delivery and installation orders over the phone or in person. Interact with customers and coworkers in a positive, friendly manner. Strive to give our customers an upbeat positive shopping experience Become familiar and knowledgeable of POS system and products sold Answer phone calls courteously. Assist customers in finding in-store products.
