• Beer Associates are responsible for maintaining the department and assisting customers.

Reports to Beer manager Assistant store manager Store manager Expectations Provides excellent customer service Ensures that deliveries are put away promptly Working knowledge of all products in the department Maintains and stocks shelves, case displays and beer coolers Rotates stocks properly Ability to lift 30-40lbs throughout the day Summary As a Beer Associate, you will be integral to delivering outstanding customer service while managing the beer section of our retail store. You will utilize your core skills in stocking, cash handling, and retail sales to ensure a well-organized and inviting display. Your ability to communicate effectively and handle transactions accurately will enhance the shopping experience for our customers. With premium skills in merchandising and product demonstrations, you will promote various beer selections, contributing to sales growth and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills Experience in retail sales and cash handling Proficient in basic math and retail math Knowledge of stocking and merchandising techniques Experience in a grocery store environment is a plus
