Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately. Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product selections. Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities. Handle cash register operations including cash handling, balancing cash drawers, and processing returns or exchanges. Maintain store appearance by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and merchandising products to attract customers. Provide knowledgeable assistance on retail store product knowledge and grocery store items when applicable. Demonstrate phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely, ensuring clear communication at all times. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred; grocery store experience is a plus. Strong proficiency with POS systems, cash register operations, and basic math skills for accurate transactions. Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership growth opportunities. Excellent communication skills in both bilingual (if applicable) and English to connect with diverse customers. Ability to perform retail math calculations quickly for sales totals, discounts, and change handling. Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management to support store presentation standards.
