Duties Greet customers warmly, assess their automotive needs, and provide tailored product and service recommendations Assist customers with estimating vehicle repairs using computer-aided estimating software and explain repair options clearly Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, suspension work, shocks & struts, transmissions, and collision repairs to maximize customer value Support service technicians by understanding automotive diagnostics, mechanical repair procedures, and vehicle maintenance requirements Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper documentation of sales and estimates Communicate effectively with clients about service progress, repair timelines, and vehicle care tips Maintain a thorough knowledge of dealership or shop inventory to recommend suitable parts and accessories Experience Previous experience in automotive sales or dealership environments is highly preferred Hands-on mechanic experience or background in automotive diagnostics enhances customer trust and service quality Familiarity with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools is advantageous Knowledge of auto service management practices including service writing, collision repair processes, and auto estimating techniques is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients Valid driver's license with a clean driving record to facilitate test drives or vehicle inspections Basic understanding of automotive systems such as transmissions, oil changes, tire services, suspension components, shocks & struts, brake systems, and oil change procedures This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to combine their passion for automobiles with excellent salesmanship.
