Part-Time Showroom Sales Associate Fitness Lifestyles | Neptune, NJ Up to 20 Hours Per Week | Hourly Pay + Sales Commission Fitness Lifestyles is a family-owned business specializing in premium fitness equipment and high-end outdoor furniture. We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Part-Time Showroom Sales Associate to join our team. This is a great position for someone who enjoys working with customers and sales but is looking for a flexible part-time schedule in a relaxed showroom environment. Because we specialize in higher-ticket products, our showroom is not a high-volume retail environment. The focus is on providing knowledgeable, personalized service to each customer. Responsibilities The primary responsibility of this position is assisting customers with the purchase of residential fitness equipment and high-end outdoor furniture . You will learn our products and brands so you can confidently help customers find the right options for their homes.

Responsibilities include:

Greeting customers and providing friendly, professional assistance Learning our fitness equipment and outdoor furniture brands, products, and features Helping customers compare products and make purchasing decisions Preparing and completing showroom sales Following up with potential customers when appropriate Learning and using our simple point-of-sale system Answering customer questions in person and over the phone Working alongside our experienced sales team while developing your own product knowledge Keeping the showroom organized, clean, and presentable Assisting with light merchandising and showroom displays Helping count and organize inventory Light cleaning during slower periods, including wiping down the front desk, showroom displays, equipment, and windows Assisting with other general showroom tasks as needed This is not a labor-intensive position . During slower showroom periods, we simply expect the associate to stay productive and help with light tasks around the store. Schedule This position offers a significant amount of flexibility while still requiring dependable coverage. Up to 25 hours per week

Sundays:

11:00 AM-5:00 PM Sunday availability is an important part of this position. We are looking for someone who can work most Sundays, although we can offer some flexibility for occasional conflicts with advance notice.

Monday-Friday:

Hours can primarily be selected by the employee between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with the following requirements: Each weekday shift must be at least 4 hours Shifts must either begin at 10:00 AM or end at 6:00 PM The employee must provide their planned schedule at the beginning of each week We will generally allow the employee to choose their weekday hours, although occasional flexibility may be requested based on showroom coverage or scheduling conflicts Requirements Bachelor's degree required Previous sales experience required Strong communication and customer service skills Friendly, personable, and comfortable speaking with customers Dependable, punctual, and professional Motivated by sales and commission opportunities Willing to learn and study our products, brands, and product features Comfortable working independently and staying productive during slower periods Organized and able to manage customer follow-ups and showroom responsibilities Comfortable learning a basic computer-based point-of-sale system Ability to work collaboratively with our existing team Availability to work most Sundays from 11:00 AM-5:00 PM Experience with retail sales, furniture, fitness equipment, home furnishings, luxury products, or other higher-ticket sales is a plus.

Compensation Hourly Pay:

$15-20 Plus commission on sales Product and sales training will be provided. Our existing team will help you learn our product lines and become comfortable assisting customers.
