Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing customer orders, sales transactions, and cash handling accurately. Support the team in maintaining a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation and food safety protocols. Manage customer orders efficiently, upselling menu items to enhance sales and improve customer satisfaction. Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and ensure accurate cash handling at all times. Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively to support food production activities. Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues during busy periods and maintaining high service standards. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, food handling, or quick service restaurant environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and kitchen safety procedures. Previous retail sales or grocery store experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility in sales transactions and upselling techniques.
