As a key ambassador for our brand, you'll educate customers on product features, assist with selections, and ensure each visit is memorable and positive. Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to help them find suitable products based on their needs and preferences Educate customers about different strains, consumption methods, and product effects through engaging demos and clear explanations Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments accurately Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure product visibility and appeal Conduct product demos to showcase new items or popular selections, encouraging upselling opportunities Manage inventory levels by stocking shelves, recording stock movements, and alerting management about low supplies Uphold compliance with all state and local regulations regarding age restrictions, product labeling, and security protocols Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy Assist in merchandising efforts to create attractive displays that promote featured products and seasonal promotions Pay range: $17 per hour Required skills A minimum of 1 years in a customer service role in a retail or hospitality environment Minimum 21 years of age (or as required by state regulations) A minimum of a High School diploma is required Intermediate-level math skills Exceptional customer service skills Strong attention to detail and ability to solve and resolve problems in a calm, professional, and courteous manner Strong computer-based skills Dynamic interpersonal and communication skills Ability to stand for long periods of time Personal experience with cannabis Desired skills Analytical skills to assess data, facts, and figures Proven expertise and experience to accurately manage a register Experience training new hires in a previous job Knowledge of the state's cannabis regulations 3+ years in retail Preferred seniority
