Job Description
Job Overview Join our vibrant retail team as a Retail Sales Associate, where your enthusiasm and customer-focused mindset will drive the success of our store. In this energetic role, you will be the friendly face that helps customers find the perfect products, provides expert advice on gardening, lawn care, and outdoor maintenance, and ensures a seamless shopping experience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales skills while working in a dynamic outdoor and retail setting. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selection related to gardening, lawn care, floral design, and landscape maintenance Provide expert advice on plant identification, horticulture techniques, and outdoor project solutions Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and retail math calculations Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with seasonal plants, gardening supplies, and outdoor equipment Support inventory management through stocking, organizing merchandise, and conducting stock counts Engage with customers via phone communication to answer questions or schedule outdoor work services Assist in floral arrangements or garden setup demonstrations to enhance customer experience Requirements Previous outdoor work experience or familiarity with horticulture, landscaping, or gardening is highly desirable Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and retail sales processes Knowledge of plant identification, floral design, and landscape maintenance techniques Excellent organizational skills for merchandising and stock management Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Passion for customer service with a proactive attitude towards sales growth and problem-solving Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to transforming outdoor spaces while delivering exceptional service.
