Duties Greet customers warmly and assess their needs to recommend suitable cannabis products and accessories Educate customers on product effects, consumption methods, dosages, and safety guidelines to promote responsible use Conduct engaging product demonstrations and provide detailed information about various strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing sales using retail POS systems Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Maintain well-organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with current products Perform regular inventory checks, stock replenishment, and assist with product stocking to keep the sales floor inviting and well-maintained Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills Supervise or assist in training new team members, ensuring adherence to store policies and excellent customer service standards Conduct product demos for customers interested in learning more about specific items or new arrivals Skills Proven experience with retail sales, cashiering, or customer service roles in grocery stores or similar environments Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing Strong communication skills with the ability to educate customers clearly and confidently Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse clientele effectively Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities in team settings Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management practices Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling and retail math tasks accurately Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and promoting responsible consumption practices Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally over the phone A background in grocery store operations is beneficial but not required; a positive attitude toward learning is essential Join us as a Cannabis Consultant/Budtender where your enthusiasm meets expertise!
