The Role As a Budtender, you're the face of our store. You'll guide customers to the right products, ring up sales accurately, and help create a friendly, professional environment on the floor. Whether someone is trying cannabis for the first time or knows exactly what they want, you'll make their visit easy and enjoyable — while keeping every transaction compliant with New Mexico regulations. What You'll Do Greet customers and help them select products that fit their needs and preferences Share accurate, helpful information about cannabis products, effects, and dosing Process sales accurately using the dispensary POS system and handle cash correctly Verify customer age and eligibility on every transaction, per state law Follow all New Mexico Cannabis Control Division rules and company policies Help with inventory tasks: stocking, counts, and labeling Keep the sales floor and workspace clean, organized, and professional Support your teammates and contribute to a positive shift What We're Looking For Required Must be at least 21 years old Valid federal, state, or local photo ID Strong customer service and communication skills Attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving Basic computer and POS skills Reliable and available for a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and some holidays Preferred Previous budtender experience Prior work in the medical or recreational cannabis industry Retail or sales experience Knowledge of cannabis products Physical Requirements Able to stand, walk, or sit for the length of a shift Able to bend, stoop, squat, and reach periodically Able to lift at least 45 lbs
