9:00 AM - 4:30 PM Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Thrift Store Associate to join our team. This position involves unloading and processing donations, maintaining a clean and organized store, and assisting with general day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, works well independently, and can identify tasks that need to be completed without requiring constant direction. Responsibilities Unload and sort donated furniture, clothing, and household items Lift and move bags of clothing weighing up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis Assist with organizing and stocking merchandise throughout the store Perform general janitorial duties, including: Dusting Cleaning windows Vacuuming Maintaining overall store cleanliness Organize and maintain storage sheds and backroom areas Ensure donated items and inventory are stored safely and efficiently Support other store operations as needed Qualifications Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Self-starter with the ability to work independently Reliable, punctual, and dependable Comfortable performing physical labor throughout the workday Previous retail, warehouse, thrift store, or janitorial experience is helpful but not required Schedule One of the following schedules: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, or Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday Saturday availability is required.
