Uptown Cheapskate Reno is looking for friendly, energetic, and fashion-forward Daytime Retail Sales Associates / Fashion Consultants to join our team as we prepare for our Grand Opening on October 8! We are the first Uptown Cheapskate in Nevada and are currently open to buy and building inventory for our Grand Opening. Uptown Cheapskate is a buy, sell, trade fashion store featuring thousands of popular mall, designer, and luxury brands at up to 80% off regular retail prices. Our goal is to make secondhand shopping fun, fashionable, affordable, and sustainable by giving great clothing a second life. What You'll Do As a Fashion Consultant, you'll help create a fun, welcoming shopping experience while keeping the store looking its best.

Responsibilities include:

Provide friendly, attentive customer service Greet customers and help them find clothing, accessories, gifts, and specific styles Assist customers with questions about how to sell clothing to Uptown Cheapskate Operate the register and complete customer transactions Organize, straighten, and merchandise clothing and accessories Help maintain attractive racks and displays Keep the sales floor, fitting rooms, and checkout areas clean and organized Help receive and prepare merchandise for the sales floor Stay familiar with current fashion trends, brands, and styles Assist with Instagram, TikTok, and other store content when needed Support store promotions, events, and our October 8 Grand Opening Work as part of a team to create a positive and energetic store environment We're Looking For Someone Who Is friendly, dependable, and comfortable working with customers Has an interest in fashion, brands, and current trends Enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment Is organized and pays attention to detail Is comfortable learning new tasks and taking direction Works well independently and as part of a team Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic Is able to stand, walk, bend, and move merchandise throughout a shift Is available primarily during daytime hours Retail or customer service experience is helpful, but we are happy to train the right person. Schedule Full-time and part-time positions available Primarily daytime shifts Weekday availability is especially important Some weekend availability may be required Additional hours may be available leading up to and during our Grand Opening beginning October 8 Pay $12.50 - $14.00 per hour , depending on experience.
