Our store is all about creating a fun and welcoming shopping experience while helping customers find great deals on a constantly changing variety of merchandise. As a Retail Store Associate, you'll play an important role in making sure every customer feels welcomed, receives great service, and enjoys their time in our store. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, communicates well, works well as part of a team, and is willing to jump in wherever help is needed. Because our inventory changes frequently, every day can be a little different! Responsibilities Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit. Assist customers with locating products, answering questions, explaining pricing, promotions, mystery boxes, bargain bins, and other store offerings. Work closely with other team members to keep the store running smoothly and create a positive working environment. Operate the cash register and POS system accurately while handling cash, card payments, and customer transactions. Stock shelves, organize merchandise, refill bargain bins, and help keep the sales floor clean and presentable. Help unload, sort, price, and organize new merchandise as deliveries arrive. Maintain attractive and organized product displays. Learn about store products, promotions, giveaways, and special events so you can confidently assist customers. Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized store, including the sales floor, checkout area, and backroom. Communicate with coworkers and management when customers need additional assistance or when store issues arise. Be willing to help with different tasks throughout the store based on what the team needs that day. What We're Looking For Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills. Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and coworkers. Strong teamwork skills and willingness to help others. Dependable, punctual, and responsible. Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment. Ability to stay organized and take initiative when tasks need to be completed. Basic math skills for handling customer transactions and making change. Previous retail, cashier, or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
