About the role We are in need of a sales associate to join our team who is excited to learn and grow with us. This individual will be responsible for providing our customers with a unique, country experience that has drawn our customers for years. Providing quality, customer service while working in the deli, at the checkout or while stocking shelves is what is expected of each individual on our team. Responsibilities Welcoming and serving customers in a friendly, courteous manner. Stock shelves and package products Slicing meat and cheese in the deli Making the town's best subs Taking and processing customer orders Enthusiastic, friendly and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service Qualifications Solid communication and interpersonal skills Ability to read, write and effectively communicate with customers, peers and leadership Ability to work well with a team in a fast paced environment Available to work a variety of hours, including weekends At least 18 years old Previous retail or deli experience preferred
