As a startup, we're looking for passionate team members who want to grow with us from day one. Job Overview We're hiring Retail Associates to help operate our flagship store. You'll be part of a small, hands-on team helping create the store experience, interact with customers, and support daily operations. We're looking for someone with at least 2 years of retail or customer service experience who is confident working independently, takes initiative, and is willing to jump in wherever needed. This is a hands-on role, and we need someone who is reliable, independent, motivated, and comfortable taking ownership of their responsibilities. Responsibilities Assist customers with product education and purchases Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and professional customer service Share our brand story and mission with energy and enthusiasm Work independently and take initiative throughout each shift Open and close the store responsibly Maintain product displays, merchandising, and overall store cleanliness Assist with inventory, stocking, receiving, and compliance tasks Help keep the store organized and running smoothly Assist with in-store events, including setup, breakdown, guest engagement, and supporting event activities Help create a welcoming and engaging experience during in-store events and community activations Work collaboratively with the team to build store systems, processes, and culture Take on additional responsibilities as needed in a growing startup environment Requirements Minimum 2 years of retail, hospitality, or customer service experience Weekend availability is required; weekend shifts will be rotated among the team Strong communication and customer service skills Strong ability to work independently and take initiative Reliable, responsible, and willing to work Comfortable with opening and closing procedures Able to stay organized and manage multiple responsibilities Willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment Comfortable working in a small team where everyone contributes Cannabis knowledge is a plus, but not required Must be able to obtain NYS-required cannabis workforce certifications Perks $17-$20/hour depending on experience Growth potential as the business expands Cannabis and retail training Staff discount Opportunity to be part of building a new cannabis retail brand from the ground up To Apply Submit your resume and a brief note about why you're excited to join our team.
