Blaze Pizza Team Member Ok, here's the deal. You can get a job anywhere, but at Blaze Pizza, you're building your career. We are currently seeking Team Members who can maintain a positive and upbeat attitude to create lively fun guest interactions in our restaurant. As a front-line worker, not only do we want you to show your own individuality, but you'll get to help guests showcase theirs as they create their own pizzas made from artisanal quality ingredients at a super-fast speed. Our pizzas are then Fast Fired in our blazing hot oven and ready to eat in just 3 minutes. Responsibilities Prepare fresh pizza ingredients and assemble orders according to company recipes and standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, payments, and sales transactions Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained throughout food handling and preparation processes Assist with cashiering duties including cash handling, upselling, and providing friendly customer service at the register Support food service operations by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment Manage time effectively to ensure quick turnaround times during busy hours while maintaining quality standards Engage with customers to promote menu items through upselling techniques and create a welcoming atmosphere Requirements Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or a quick service & fast food restaurant is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during peak hours Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards Previous restaurant experience or background in the food industry is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential Join us as a Blaze Pizza and bring your culinary talents to a vibrant team dedicated to creating memorable dining moments!
