Dobbs Ferry, NY We are looking for a dependable, energetic, and friendly Stock/Sales Associate to join our wine and liquor store team in Dobbs Ferry, NY. The ideal candidate is a people person who enjoys helping customers, works well with others, and is comfortable staying active throughout the workday. Responsibilities Greet every customer in a friendly and welcoming manner. Assist customers in finding products and provide helpful recommendations. Stock wine, liquor, and other merchandise on shelves and displays. Keep shelves organized, fully stocked, clean, and properly labeled. Receive deliveries and verify products against invoices. Safely move and organize cases in the stockroom and sales area. Operate the cash register and process payments accurately. Check customer identification and follow all alcohol-sale laws and store policies. Help maintain attractive displays and promotional areas. Keep the sales floor, checkout area, and stockroom clean and organized. Assist with inventory counts and report damaged, missing, or low-stock items. Provide excellent customer service and create a positive shopping experience. Complete other store-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old. Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable speaking with customers. Dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team. Strong customer-service and communication skills. Able to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently. Basic math and cash-handling skills. Previous retail, customer-service, cashier, or stocking experience is preferred but not required. Knowledge of wine and liquor is helpful but not required; training will be provided. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to bend, reach, climb a step stool, and safely lift and carry cases weighing approximately 30-50 pounds. Ability to work in both the sales area and stockroom. Availability Candidates should have flexible availability, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
