Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products related to gardening, landscape maintenance, floral design, and lawn care. Provide expert advice on horticulture topics, including plant care, landscape maintenance techniques, and floral arrangements. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and inventory management. Stock shelves efficiently, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented to attract customer interest. Maintain excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving issues with professionalism. Support merchandising efforts by organizing seasonal displays and ensuring product availability. Assist with inventory counts, stocking supplies, and managing stock levels to meet customer demand. Requirements Passion for gardening, horticulture, landscaping, or floral design with a desire to share knowledge with customers. Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities. Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key! Basic understanding of retail math for handling transactions and managing stock levels accurately. Organizational skills to keep the sales floor tidy and merchandise well-displayed. Ability to operate POS systems confidently and handle cash transactions securely. Knowledge of retail merchandising principles to create attractive displays that enhance the shopping experience.
