Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products tailored to their needs Educate customers on product features, effects, and proper usage through engaging demos and clear communication Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability Conduct product demos to highlight new or featured items, encouraging upselling opportunities Manage inventory levels through stock checks and restocking to ensure optimal product presentation Uphold compliance with all state and local regulations related to cannabis sales, including age verification and documentation Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or scheduling appointments Qualifications Previous retail sales or customer service experience, preferably in a grocery store or similar environment Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills and team collaboration Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs effectively Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions Strong communication skills with an energetic approach to engaging customers and explaining products Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos to enhance the shopping experience Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn about effects, strains, and consumption methods Ability to handle cash accurately while maintaining professionalism during busy periods Join us in creating a vibrant retail environment where your enthusiasm fuels positive customer experiences!
