Budtender/Delivery Driver - Part-time

Overview The Budtender & Delivery Specialist at Chesterfield Cannabis Co. plays a key role in shaping the customer experience both inside our dispensary and throughout our regulated delivery service. This hybrid position is ideal for individuals who are friendly, outgoing, dependable, and enthusiastic about cannabis education and sales, while also comfortable working independently during delivery shifts. As a representative of Chesterfield Cannabis Co., this team member serves as both a trusted guide on the sales floor and a professional brand ambassador in the community. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older, as required by New York State cannabis regulations. Budtender (In-store Responsibilities) Greet and engage customers in a warm, approachable, and professional manner. Build rapport by asking questions and actively listening to customer preferences. Educate customers on cannabis products including flower, edibles, concentrates, vapes, and accessories. Make tailored product recommendations with a focus on driving sales and appropriate upselling. Ensure compliance with all New York State cannabis regulations, including ID verification and transaction procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting sales environment. Assist with restocking, inventory management, and merchandising displays. Process transactions accurately and efficiently through the POS system. Collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth store operations and exceptional customer service. Delivery (Delivery Specialist Responsibilities) Safely and securely transport cannabis products in compliance with New York State Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) regulations. Verify valid government-issued identification at point of delivery. Accurately complete all required delivery documentation and follow cash-handling protocols. Maintain detailed delivery logs and ensure product security at all times. Represent Chesterfield Cannabis Co. with professionalism, discretion, and courtesy during all deliveries. Communicate effectively with management regarding delivery schedules and routing. Skills & Qualifications Customer Service Excellence

Requirements:

Must be 21+ and legally eligible to work in New York's adult-use cannabis industry. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass any required background checks. Ability to work 10-20 hours per week, including evenings and/or weekends. Demonstrated adaptability and a growth mindset, with the ability to navigate evolving regulations, operational procedures, technology systems, and product offerings within New York's developing cannabis industry.
