Job Description

Job Summary We are looking to hire an Auto Parts Sales Associate, where your enthusiasm for automotive technology and exceptional customer service will drive success. In this role, you will assist customers in finding the right auto parts and accessories, provide expert advice on vehicle maintenance and repair, and manage inventory to ensure our shelves are stocked with quality products. You will also help manage our rapidly expanding online website where you would package and ship out products as the orders are place. Duties Greet customers warmly and identify their automotive needs through active listening and effective communication. Assist customers in selecting the appropriate auto parts, accessories, and related products based on vehicle specifications and repair requirements. Provide technical guidance on automotive diagnostics, vehicle systems, and mechanical troubleshooting to support customer decisions. Manage inventory levels by stocking shelves, conducting inventory control, and utilizing automotive parts management systems such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Process sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling cash and credit payments with professionalism. Build strong customer relationships through excellent service, product knowledge, and personalized recommendations to encourage repeat business. Collaborate with team members to maintain organized stockrooms, ensure proper merchandising, and uphold safety standards in the store environment. Qualifications Proven experience in automotive repair, dealership sales, or retail auto parts sales is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, automotive diagnostics, and repair procedures. Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and inventory management software such as CMMS or similar tools. Demonstrated ability in negotiation, sales management, and customer relationship building to achieve sales targets. Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, retail math, and inventory control techniques. Organizational skills with attention to detail for stocking, maintenance, and ensuring accurate recordkeeping. Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
