Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service by greeting visitors warmly and assisting them with product selections. Educate customers on product features, effects, and proper usage through engaging product demos and clear communication. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process transactions accurately while handling cash and card payments responsibly. Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure products are stocked neatly on shelves to maximize sales opportunities. Conduct upselling by recommending complementary products and promoting featured items to enhance customer satisfaction. Manage inventory levels through stock checks, restocking shelves, and documenting product movement accurately. Uphold all compliance standards related to age restrictions, security protocols, and legal regulations governing cannabis sales. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or scheduling appointments with professionalism and clarity. Assist in product demos and educational sessions to inform customers about new or featured items. Support team members through supervising experience when needed, fostering a collaborative retail environment. Qualifications Prior retail sales experience preferred, especially within grocery stores or similar customer-focused environments. Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain product details and answer customer questions effectively. Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases better. Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math is essential for smooth transactions. Demonstrated proficiency in merchandising, stocking, and inventory management techniques. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create welcoming interactions both in person and over the phone. Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities within the team. Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn about product demos is highly valued.
