Sales Associate - Luxury Designer Resale The Closet NY | Syosset, NY Part-Time | $22/ hour The Closet NY is a luxury designer resale boutique in Syosset, specializing in authenticated pre-owned designer handbags, clothing, shoes, and accessories. We're looking for a warm, outgoing and dependable Sales Associate who genuinely enjoys working with people. This role is perfect for someone who is confident starting conversations, building relationships with customers and creating a welcoming, personalized shopping experience. What You'll Do Greet and engage with customers throughout their visit Help customers find pieces and offer styling suggestions Build genuine relationships with new and returning clients Learn our inventory and confidently speak about designer brands and products Keep the sales floor organized, polished and ready for customers Assist with fitting rooms, checkout and general store operations Help create an elevated but comfortable shopping experience Occasionally assist with social media content and new arrivals Who We're Looking For Above all, we're looking for someone who is great with people . You should be friendly, conversational and comfortable approaching customers without being pushy.

The ideal candidate is:

Personable, outgoing and socially confident Reliable, punctual and responsible Polished and professional Comfortable working independently and taking initiative Genuinely interested in fashion, luxury or retail Able to connect naturally with customers of all ages Comfortable learning about designer brands and resale Available to work Saturdays and/or Sundays as needed Previous retail, luxury, fashion, hospitality, client service or sales experience is a plus, but personality and customer service instincts are extremely important to us. About The Closet NY We're a locally owned luxury resale boutique with a constantly changing selection of designer pieces from brands including Chanel, Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Saint Laurent, Dior, Zimmermann and more. Our goal is to make luxury resale feel approachable, personal and fun while providing exceptional service to every person who walks through our doors.

Pay:

$22-$24 per hour, depending on experience
