Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs, offering product demos when appropriate to showcase features and benefits Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card payments Maintain an organized checkout area, ensuring cash drawer handling is precise and balanced at the end of each shift Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products, store policies, and promotions using strong communication skills Upsell related products or accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Restock shelves, organize merchandise, and support merchandising efforts to keep the store visually appealing and well-stocked Follow phone etiquette standards when answering inquiries or assisting customers over the phone Requirements Previous experience with POS systems, cashiering, or retail sales is preferred but not required; training will be provided Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus for those interested in growth opportunities Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for cash register operations and retail math calculations Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and stock management practices Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette Capable of standing for extended periods and handling physical tasks such as stocking shelves or organizing displays Basic understanding of cash drawer handling, cash handling procedures, and retail sales transactions Join us as a Cashier/Sales Associate where your energy fuels our success!
