Optical Sales Associate

Position Summary:

As an Optical Sales Associate, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by helping patients select eyewear that meets their style and vision needs. This position combines fashion consulting, product knowledge, and basic optical skills to support both the retail and clinical sides of the optical practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet patients and customers warmly and professionally. Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses based on prescription, lifestyle, and personal style. Explain lens options and upgrades (e.g., anti-glare, transitions, blue light filters). Accurately take measurements such as pupillary distance (PD) and segment height. Process orders and perform data entry using optical systems and point-of-sale (POS) software. MVE Adjust, repair, and clean eyeglasses as needed. Maintain frame displays and keep sales floor clean and organized. Follow up on patient orders and provide updates as needed scheduling and check-in Appointments. Maintain knowledge of current promotions and products. Deliver a positive, professional experience in alignment with company values and service standards.
