Unique Toy Store in Woodstock NY Do you love unique toys, games, creativity, and helping people find something truly special? Tinker Toys , an independent toy store with a history dating back to 1981, is looking for a part-time team member to join our small, friendly shop. We offer a thoughtfully curated collection of toys and games for children and adults of all ages — with an emphasis on quality, imagination, beautiful design, and those wonderfully unusual things you don't find in every other toy store. What You'll Do Welcome and assist customers Check customers out at the register Receive and organize merchandise Assist with inventory Keep the store neat, clean, and organized Help with the day-to-day operations of the shop Bring a friendly, positive attitude to our customers and our team Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Dependable and responsible Friendly and personable Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable working independently Enjoys interacting with customers Honest and trustworthy Has an appreciation for toys, games, creativity, design, or nostalgia Willing to learn all aspects of running a small retail business Retail experience is helpful, but the right personality and willingness to learn are just as important. A Unique Opportunity This isn't necessarily just a part-time retail job. For the right person , there may be an opportunity in the future to take on a larger role and potentially purchase/own the business . The current owner is looking for someone who may eventually have an interest in learning the business from the inside, taking on more responsibility, and possibly becoming its next owner. Tinker Toys Too! — Woodstock, NY Part-time — 3-5 days a week, weekends. 11-5 and 11-6 on weekends. PAY - $10-20 an hour
