In this energetic role, you will be the friendly face guiding customers through our extensive furniture collection, helping them find perfect pieces that suit their style and needs. Your enthusiasm and product knowledge will inspire confidence, making each visit memorable. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting furniture that meets their preferences and requirements Demonstrate product features through engaging demos and detailed explanations to enhance customer understanding Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for retail transactions, including sales, returns, and exchanges Upsell complementary products and accessories to maximize customer satisfaction and store sales Maintain organized stock levels by stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and managing inventory counts Handle cash register operations with precision, including cash handling, cashiering, and balancing cash drawers at shift end Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy Help maintain and keep store clean and inviting to customers entering the store Skills Experience with POS systems is a plus, retail sales transactions, and cash register operations (we can train for each) Strong supervising experience or leadership skills to assist in team coordination when needed Ability to conduct product demos confidently and clearly communicate features and benefits Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to engage customers remotely or in-store Skilled in upselling techniques to promote additional products and enhance sales performance Knowledge of retail store merchandising, stocking procedures, and inventory management Basic math skills for retail math calculations, cash handling, and balancing cash drawers accurately Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette Embrace this exciting opportunity to grow your career in retail sales while helping customers transform their living spaces!
