Pet Supply Store Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Store Associate to join our pet supply team. This role is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, maintaining store organization, and supporting daily operations. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has a passion for pets, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers and assist with product selection based on pet needs Operate point-of-sale (POS) system and handle transactions accurately Stock shelves, rotate inventory, and maintain clean, organized displays Monitor product levels and notify management of low or out-of-stock items Assist with receiving shipments and verifying inventory Maintain cleanliness of store, including floors, shelves, and self-wash stations Answer customer questions regarding pet products, nutrition, and basic care Support grooming area with basic tasks as needed (check-ins, cleaning, etc.)

Qualifications:

Previous retail or customer service experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (pet food, supplies) Comfortable working on feet for extended periods Basic knowledge of pet care products is a plus (training provided)

Schedule & Availability:

Flexible schedule, including weekends and some evenings required
