Role Description We are seeking a part-time Tea Specialists that focus on projects and product production with heavy focus on gift wrapping and packaging tasks during the week at Madisonville location, and retail customer service on the weekend at the Cincinnati Findlay Market and Madisonville locations. The retail portion of the role will increase more and more as we approach the winter. Holiday shopping season (mid- Nov to early Jan) is our busiest time and you are expected to report to work without extended time off requests. You will join our mission to inspire and educate tea culture, build and share tea knowledge, maintain and sell our products, and create an engaging experience for our customers. The ideal candidate enjoys both customer interaction and solo hands on production projects, consistently contributes to a positive team atmosphere and store environment, proactively seeking ways to contribute during customer service downtime, and maintains the highest standards of health, safety, and cleanliness at all times. Tasks and Responsibilities (include but not limited to) Greet and engage customers in person or via phone & emails, and fill customer orders through our Point-of-sale system or online shop. Prepare To-Go Drinks or Serve customers with dine in type of tea and food pairing service Educate customers, answer customer questions, and provide recommendations. Maintaining a well-organized, safe, and sanitary retail and food-preparation environment for customers and coworkers. Keep the store clean, tidy, and organized (front, back, bathroom, etc.) at all times. Carry out daily opening and closing procedures. Proactively contributes to product production and gifting service preparation for peak visiting hours. Complete weekly store tasks and support projects and/ or inventory management tasks. Follow policy and procedures of inventory management and store operations. Maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and cleanliness at all times. Willingness to support multiple locations is a PLUS. Required Skills and Experience Previous e-commerce, retail, and hospitality industry experience preferred Previous product assembly and gift wrapping work experience desired Enthusiasm for engagement with customers Ability to remain calm in a sometimes fast-paced environment Good interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively in a group Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations Careful attention to detail at all times Comfortable with computer work and data entry jobs. Productivity on repetitive tasks in the nature of hand craft projects Professionalism, maturity, sincerity Ability and willingness to take initiative Ability to lift 25 lbs. and work on your feet for 6-8 hours.
