Responsibilities Manage the entire hardware inventory, including ordering, stocking, and tracking to maintain optimal stock levels. Supervise daily store operations related to hardware sales, ensuring all processes adhere to company standards. Lead and motivate a retail sales team by providing training on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service excellence. Oversee purchasing decisions by negotiating with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms for hardware products. Implement effective merchandising strategies to showcase hardware items attractively and increase sales. Conduct regular employee orientation sessions and ongoing training to develop team skills in sales management, POS systems, and operational procedures. Monitor sales performance metrics, manage budgets, and ensure accurate cash handling and bookkeeping practices are followed. Coordinate with management on inventory control, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to maximize profitability. Ensure compliance with safety standards, manage shift schedules, and oversee cashiering duties to deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements Proven experience in retail management or store supervision within the hardware industry. Strong leadership skills with experience managing retail sales teams and supervising staff members. Excellent negotiation abilities coupled with effective managerial communication skills. Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math for pricing and sales calculations. Demonstrated ability in employee orientation, training & development, and operational management. Knowledge of merchandising techniques, stock control procedures, and retail math principles. Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Experience with purchasing processes, payroll administration, bookkeeping, and cash handling is highly desirable.
