Reliable Manufacturing is a growing manufacturer serving the natural gas industry. We are actively investing in our people, equipment, processes, and capabilities, including bringing welding operations in-house. Reliable Manufacturing is looking for an experienced Welding Department Development Lead to help build and grow our in-house welding operation. This is more than a welding position. We are looking for someone who can weld today while building the processes, systems, and training needed to grow the department tomorrow. What You'll Do Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding for production. Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and welding procedures. Develop and maintain Welding Procedure Specifications (WPSs) and supporting documentation. Establish a controlled system for welding procedures, revisions, approvals, and records. qualification requirements . Develop consistent, repeatable welding processes that meet quality and production requirements. Help develop and implement automated welding , including a robotic welding cell and rotary table. Develop standardized onboarding and training for future welders. Troubleshoot welding and production issues and identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and consistency. Train and develop other employees as the department grows. What We're Looking For Strong hands-on welding experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience with MIG and TIG welding. Ability to read drawings and follow welding specifications. Experience with WPSs, welding procedures, or quality documentation. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to develop processes, document work, and create repeatable systems. Interest in welding automation and robotic processes. Ability and willingness to learn and applyAPI 1104

This role offers the opportunity to join at the beginning of that effort and have a direct impact on how the department is built.
