Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selection, including plants, gardening tools, lawn care equipment, and floral arrangements Provide expert plant identification and horticultural advice to help customers make informed decisions Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cashiering, cash handling, and processing transactions efficiently Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh inventory Support landscape maintenance and outdoor work tasks such as plant care, watering, pruning, and lawn care as needed Manage inventory levels through stock rotation, stocking new merchandise, and organizing storage areas Communicate effectively with customers via phone or in person to answer questions about products or services Assist with floral design projects and seasonal displays to enhance store presentation Uphold excellent customer service standards by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally Support e-commerce initiatives by preparing online orders for pickup or delivery when required Experience Previous experience in retail sales or customer service environments preferred but not required; enthusiasm for outdoor work and gardening is essential Knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, horticulture, or floral design highly desirable Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math concepts is a plus Multilingual abilities are beneficial for serving diverse customer bases Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—are crucial for engaging with customers effectively Outdoor work experience demonstrating comfort working outside in various weather conditions is preferred Organizational skills to manage stock levels, merchandising displays, and store cleanliness effectively Embark on a rewarding career where your passion for gardening, outdoor work experience, and exceptional customer service come together!
