Summary We are seeking a Cashier/Sales team member to join our restaurant. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for our customers as they place orders and make payments. Your contributions will help set the tone for our restaurant's reputation and success. We are looking for someone who is able to work 15-20 hours a week. Days, Evenings and Weekends Responsibilities Process customer transactions accurately using the cash register and POS system. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests and assisting with their orders. Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier station and dining area. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally. Assist with phone orders and ensure proper phone etiquette is maintained. resolving customer complaints or issues Putting takeout orders in containers or bags Processing discounts and coupons Greeting customers as they arrive Answering customer questions Assisting with or taking customer ordersupselling and making recommendations Completing any return transactions Maintaining cleanliness in register stations and tables Closing or cashing out the register at the end of the day Overseeing customer order completion Assisting kitchen staff as needed Processing payments and providing change and receipts Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or as a cashier preferred. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers. Ability to upsell products and enhance customer experience. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Familiarity with POS systems and cash registers is a plus. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
