Job Description
Job Summary We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Weld Shop Lead to join our team. To succeed in this position, you will be thorough and hardworking, demonstrate a strong working knowledge and prove you are committed to quality and safety. Qualifications Must be able to read blueprints Knowledge of both flux & mig weld processes Must be able to pass a 3G and 5G Plate test I beam test (cope & weld) Skills 5 years minimum experience in structural welding Significant hands-on experience working on a production floor Solid necessary math skills, including measuring. Able to read and follow technical drawings and diagrammed instructions Forklift experience Cutting torch Able to perform physically demanding work—standing, bending, lifting 25 lbs regularly Positive attitude, reliable, and a team player and self-starter Effective communication skills, written and verbal Benefits Vacation & Sick Time Holiday pay
