In this role, you'll engage customers, assess their needs, and recommend chemicals, equipment, and maintenance solutions that keep their pools and spas clean, safe, and fun. You'll perform basic water testing, explain treatment options, and operate the POS system accurately. You'll also support merchandising, inventory, and seasonal promotions while working closely with teammates in a safety-focused, customer-first culture that offers growth into leadership roles. Responsibilities Greet customers and deliver knowledgeable, solution-focused service for pool and spa needs Recommend and sell chemicals, equipment, and services to meet customer requirements Perform basic water testing and explain treatment steps and product usage Operate POS system, handle cash, and process transactions accurately Maintain store merchandising, stocking, and inventory accuracy Support seasonal promotions and sales events to meet revenue targets Ensure store cleanliness, safety, and adherence to company policies Educate customers on safe product handling and equipment operation Assist with online order pickups and coordination as needed Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales and service goals Required Skills Retail sales Point-of-sale (POS) systems Customer relationship management Product knowledge - pool and spa care Merchandising Inventory management Cash handling and reconciliation Upselling and cross-selling Basic water testing and analysis Safety and compliance procedures
