Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Demonstrate products to customers and engage in upselling techniques to enhance their shopping experience. Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising practices. Supervise junior staff members when necessary, ensuring adherence to company policies and excellent customer service standards. Assist with stocking shelves and managing inventory levels to ensure product availability. Handle customer complaints professionally, utilizing strong communication skills to resolve issues effectively. Conduct basic retail math calculations for inventory management and sales reporting. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus. Ability to operate POS systems and perform cashiering duties accurately. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent phone etiquette.
