• We are seeking a dynamic Sales Associate to join our team at a local liquor store. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales in a retail environment.
• Responsibilities
• Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions with accuracy
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers with their inquiries and purchases
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
• Utilize phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or directing calls
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and recommend products
• Demonstrate basic math skills to process transactions and handle retail math calculations
• Handle cash responsibly and follow cash handling procedures
• Actively promote and sell products to meet sales targets
• Assist in supervising other team members when necessary
• Qualifications
• Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and performing retail calculations
