Apply Full-Time Produce Team Member Collegeville, PA Apply Job Type Full-time Description Kimberton Whole Foods is seeking a full-time Produce Team Member. Come join the Collegeville crew!
Requirements:
Full-time, 40 hours per week. One weekend shift is required per week.
Schedule:
Tuesday
  • Saturday set schedule.
Mix of opening, midday, and closing shifts. Shifts are within a 6:30am-8:30pm timeframe.
Age Requirement:
Must be 18 years or older.
Starting Hourly Pay:
$17.00

Receive and stock all incoming fresh produce and related items. Rotate fresh produce on a first-in first-out basis. Slice, package, weigh and label whole fruits and vegetables Maintain appropriate inventory levels and ensures accurate pricing on products received and sold Complete all necessary sanitation standards within produce department Maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage Follow established practices for sustaining abundant, dynamic, and fresh displays Perform KWF inventory management practices. Requirements Physical Capabilities Full sense range (vision, hearing and sense of smell)
  • the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers. Lifting, gripping and carrying objects
  • up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products. Stooping, squatting, & kneeling
  • stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts. Walking
  • short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas. Standing
  • prolonged standing. Work environment
  • movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting). Climate
  • ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis. Salary Description $17.00
