Job Description
We're looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Store Associate to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who loves helping customers plan their celebrations and has hands-on experience with balloon prep and retail checkout systems. What You'll Do Assist customers on the sales floor with party supply selection, balloon bouquets, and event planning needs Inflate, tie, and prepare latex and foil balloons for pickup, delivery, or in-store display (helium and air-filled) Operate the cash register and point-of-sale (POS) system to process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately Take and process customer orders both online (through our website/order system) and over the phone Maintain balloon inventory, helium tank levels, and display presentation Keep the store clean, organized, and well-stocked Provide excellent customer service, including gift wrapping, order pickup coordination, and answering product questions What We're Looking For Prior experience working with balloons (inflating, arranging, bouquet design) strongly preferred Comfortable using a cash register/POS system for transactions Experience taking phone and online orders is a plus Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment, especially during busy seasons (holidays, graduation, etc.) Reliable, punctual, and a team player
