Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Store Associate who will primarily work in our kitchen/food service area while also supporting overall store operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in food preparation and cleanliness, and delivers friendly, efficient customer service. Key Responsibilities Food Service & Kitchen (Primary Focus): Prepare, cook, and serve food and beverages in a timely and safe manner Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all food service and beverage areas in compliance with health regulations Follow proper food handling, storage, and safety procedures at all times Monitor food supplies, restock items, and assist with inventory control Ensure kitchen equipment and workstations are clean, safe, and functioning properly

Store & Customer Service Support:

Provide fast, friendly, and professional customer service Operate the POS system and handle customer transactions accurately Assist customers with product questions and make recommendations Maintain assigned areas in stock and presentable, including coolers Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and inviting store appearance Assist with stocking, rotating merchandise, and inventory procedures Support cashiering, returns, and cross-selling as needed Adhere to tobacco and alcohol sales regulations Ensure pumps, equipment, signage, and facilities are clean and operational Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth store operations Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in food service, retail, or customer service preferred Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and best practices Basic math skills and ability to operate a POS system Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks Friendly, energetic, and dependable with a team-oriented mindset Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays High school diploma or equivalent Additional Information This position requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to food quality, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction. Other duties may be assigned as needed to support store operations.
