Apply your astonishingly broad and deep knowledge of books, music, history, and culture across many eras, subjects , genres, countries, and eras of both books and music to a job you'll love. (Of our current and very recently departed staff, average tenure here is over 4 years.) You should also be super-friendly, high-energy, reliable, and organized, have a valid, clean drivers license and be able to set up and sell for us at at multiple weekly outdoor markets, Thursday-Sunday through October, and to work in our store as well. Position will convert to a primarily indoor in-store position as markets wind-down in the fall, and will commence again at markets in the spring. The job requires lots of standing and lifting and the ability to work both cooperatively and autonomously. Must have a clean driving record. This full-time position features regular set hours, regular at-least-annual raises, a generous employee discount, paid-time-off, and we do offer health coverage, although sadly, it isn't a cheap option.
