Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. Important Requirement:

Must have a minimum of 3 years of flooring sales experience to be considered. Applications with no flooring sales experience will not be considered. Key Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, understanding their needs, and offering tailored product recommendations. Conduct product demonstrations and assist customers with inquiries regarding features and benefits. Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and inventory levels to effectively assist customers. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Assist in stocking merchandise, organizing displays, and maintaining an appealing store layout. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and contribute to a positive work environment. Manage account information for repeat customers and assist with any follow-up inquiries or concerns. Required Experience and Qualifications Proven experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred; experience in high-end sales is a plus. Minimum 3 years of flooring sales experience required. Familiarity with retail math concepts and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Experience with CAD or SketchUp for layout design is desirable but not mandatory. Knowledge of renovation, construction, interior design, or lighting design can enhance customer interactions. Multilingual abilities are an asset, contributing to effective communication with diverse clientele. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining inventory and merchandising standards. Excellent communication skills are required to engage effectively with customers and team members alike.
