Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and identify their automotive parts and accessory needs through active listening and effective communication. Assist customers in locating parts using inventory management systems, POS (Point of Sale) terminals, and automotive diagnostics tools. Provide expert advice on vehicle maintenance, repair procedures, and automotive system troubleshooting to ensure customer satisfaction. Manage inventory control by stocking shelves, organizing parts displays, and conducting regular stock audits to maintain accurate inventory levels. Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems, handle cash and electronic payments, and issue receipts with professionalism. Build strong customer relationships through personalized service, product recommendations, and follow-up to foster loyalty. Collaborate with the service team to facilitate order fulfillment, ensure timely delivery of parts, and support automotive repair operations. Skills Knowledge of automotive parts, accessories, vehicle systems, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques. Proven experience in retail sales within an automotive dealership or parts store environment. Strong organizational skills for inventory management, stock control, and order processing. Experience with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math for accurate transaction processing. Knowledge of automotive diagnostics tools and vehicle maintenance procedures enhances your ability to assist customers comprehensively. Customer service-oriented mindset with phone etiquette skills for engaging clients over the phone or in person. Mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair processes ensures you can provide accurate technical advice.
