Role Overview:

Acts as the primary point of contact for customers, assisting with merchandise, store displays, and checkout processes. Ensures shelves are stocked, merchandise is properly rotated, and store cleanliness is maintained to enhance customer satisfaction and store profitability.

Responsibilities:

Unload trucks and receive merchandise following company procedures. Build displays, stock, rotate, and face merchandise on shelves. Assist customers in locating products and operate cash registers, including handling payments and bagging items. Maintain store cleanliness by cleaning floors, restrooms, and stockrooms, and managing trash and cardboard. Help with ordering merchandise and set up sidewalk displays as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of safety policies and basic cash handling procedures. Ability to follow plan-o-grams and presentation guidelines. Basic math skills and familiarity with cash register functions. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Working Conditions:

Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 55 pounds. Use of various equipment like scanners, carts, and ladders in a fast-paced environment, with occasional exposure to outside weather conditions.
