The Role We're looking for a friendly, detail-oriented associate to join our team on the sales floor. You'll be responsible for quickly and accurately ringing at the point-of-sale, neat and timely wrapping of gifts for customers, and working as a runner to get products and boxes for the sales staff. What You'll Do Support bridal registry department - entering and uploading registries into Shopify. Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, including special orders, gift wrapping, and shipping requests. Handle gift wrapping and packaging to the shop's high presentation standard. Support seasonal setup and holiday events, including evening or weekend hours during peak periods. What We're Looking For Prior retail, boutique, or customer service experience preferred, ideally in home goods, gifts, or a similar specialty environment. A warm, outgoing personality with genuine enthusiasm for helping customers. Strong attention to detail - comfortable handling fine china, crystal, and other delicate merchandise with care. Reliable, punctual, and able to work a set schedule including some weekends and holiday-season hours. Basic comfort with point-of-sale systems and computers; willingness to learn our systems. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (unpacking and merchandising stock). A team-first attitude and pride in representing a long-standing local business.

Pay:

From $15.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 20.0 per week
