Sales Associate Hawthorne, CA Job Details Full-time $17 - $30 an hour 23 hours ago Qualifications Spanish Outbound sales Sales English Driver's License Driving Full Job Description Role Overview The Sales Associate will work closely with the Business Development Manager to drive new business for Fuel Refund Institute. This is a hands-on, high-energy role suited to a natural salesperson who enjoys outbound sales, face-to-face engagement, and building relationships in the field. This role requires initiative, resilience, and the ability to consistently create opportunities through cold outreach and site visits. Key Responsibilities Client Outreach & Sales Conduct high-volume cold calling and cold emailing to prospective clients Proactively identify and approach businesses that may qualify for fuel refunds Visit client sites and engage directly with business owners, decision-makers, and equipment operators Clearly explain FRI's services and value proposition in a confident and professional manner Lead Generation & Conversion Generate qualified leads and book meetings for further sales discussions Work closely with the Business Development Manager to support deal progression and closing Maintain accurate records of outreach, leads, and follow-ups Consistently push through rejection and maintain momentum toward targets Field & Relationship Building Build trust with prospects through in-person interactions and follow-ups Represent Fuel Refund Institute professionally at all times Gather insights from the field to improve targeting, messaging, and sales approach Commission Structure The Sales Associate will earn a once-off commission percentage for each customer successfully converted Commission is paid once the client has been successfully onboarded and converted What We're Looking For A natural salesperson with confidence, persistence, and strong communication skills Comfortable with rejection and motivated by performance and results Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage their own pipeline Honest, reliable, and driven with a strong work ethic Willingness to be active in the field and engage clients face-to-face Previous sales experience (B2B, field sales, or outbound sales preferred, but not essential) Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (Latin America) is required (spoken and written) Must have a valid driver's license and be authorised to work in the USA.
