Flexible, including evenings and weekends

Compensation:

$12 (team member) $15 (shift lead) + tips (avg $6-$9/person per hour) •

About Us:

Who doesn't love ice cream at the beach?! Shoobies is your go-to spot for delicious soft serve, hard scoop ice cream, and freshly made waffle cones right on Center Street! We believe in creating a fun, family-friendly atmosphere while serving delicious, sweet treats. We're looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to join our growing team and make Shoobies a Folly favorite! Hours of operation during peak season will be 11am-11pm. During non-peak, we will be closing a bit earlier. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer designated parking but there is free street parking on Folly.

What You'll Do:

Greet and engage with customers, ensuring they feel welcome and appreciated. Assist customers with self-serve soft serve and serve hard scoop ice cream with a smile. Prepare fresh waffle cones and maintain product presentation. Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Follow health and safety protocols to ensure food quality. Be a team player.

What We're Looking For:

Friendly, positive attitude with excellent customer service skills. Willingness to learn. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Team-oriented with strong communication skills. Reliable and trustworthy. Must be 16+ years old. Previous food service or retail experience is a plus but not required—we're happy to train the right person!
