Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Prepare food items following established recipes and safety standards to ensure quality and consistency. Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and process payments efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and math calculations. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by cleaning workstations, utensils, dining areas, and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed. Assist with food prep tasks such as assembling sandwiches, packaging orders, and restocking supplies as needed. Support team members during busy periods by bussing tables, managing queues, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or quick service restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards within the food industry. Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totaling. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and positive approach. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; training will be provided if needed. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
