Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, handle cash and card payments accurately, and manage cash handling procedures. Maintain attractive merchandising displays by stocking shelves, organizing products, and ensuring the store is clean and inviting. Support inventory management through stock replenishment, inventory checks, and organizing stockroom areas. Communicate product features and benefits clearly via phone or in person to enhance customer satisfaction. Assist with floral design projects or garden center displays when needed to showcase seasonal offerings. Use organizational skills to keep track of sales data, retail math calculations, and customer orders for seamless service delivery. Engage in outdoor work activities such as lawn care or landscape maintenance tasks as required by the store's seasonal needs. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for outdoor work is essential. Knowledge of lawn care, gardening techniques, landscape maintenance, or horticulture is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math enhances efficiency in daily operations.
