Product Knowledge:
Maintain extensive knowledge of jewelry, including diamonds, gemstones, precious metals, cuts, settings, and craftsmanship. Educate customers on product features, warranties, and care instructions.
Sales and Consultative Selling:
Present jewelry pieces effectively, suggest complementary items, and guide customers through the buying process. Handle high-value transactions with accuracy and professionalism.
Transaction Processing:
Process cash, credit, and layaway transactions, manage returns and exchanges, and ensure all documentation, such as receipts and warranties, is provided.
Inventory and Visual Merchandising:
Maintain clean, organized display cases, track stock levels, assist with inventory replenishment, and ensure displays align with store branding.
Customer Service and After-Sales Support:
Address customer inquiries, provide guidance on jewelry care, repairs, and warranties, and build lasting relationships to encourage repeat business.
Administrative Duties:
Assist with appraisals, repair orders, and other documentation. Participate in store operations, including opening and closing procedures, and follow security protocols for valuable merchandise.
